thanks to all of the wonderful peeps who helped me out with my “do not think” post several weeks ago. i received both comments and e-mails in response to my request for people to simply tell me something – anything that came to mind at the moment. i mentioned i would tell you what it was about at a later date &
ta da! . . . . here it is:
i was watching a rev. gayle dillon video and she was speaking about how if you are being aware and receptive, you will always get the answers to your prayers or at least a point in the right direction. most of the time, we’re just not paying close attention. she then suggested we could give it a try by asking random people to say something – anything that came to mind – and then listen – really listen – to what the universe was offering through that person. so i asked and i received. i sat with each of the responses and let them speak to me. i did not ’just read’ them while i was on the phone, typing or watching t.v. each and every reply to my post held so much value and was so relevant for me. i encourage you to try this and see what comes up for you – i bet you’ll be as fascinated as i was.
The good you find in others, is in you too.
The faults you find in others, are your faults as well.
After all, to recognize something you must know it.
The possibilities you see in others, are possible for you as well.
The beauty you see around you, is your beauty.
The world around you is a reflection, a mirror showing you the person you are.
To change your world, you must change yourself.
To blame and complain will only make matters worse.
Whatever you care about, is your responsibility.
What you see in others, shows you yourself.
See the best in others, and you will be your best.
Give to others, and you give to yourself.
Appreciate beauty, and you will be beautiful.
Admire creativity, and you will be creative.
Love, and you will be loved.
Seek to understand, and you will be understood.
Listen, and your voice will be heard.
Teach, and you will learn.
Show your best face to the mirror,
and you’ll be happy with the face looking back at you.
