today is the 4th official day of spring. so far 2 days have been outstanding and 2 have been rainy.  the trees are sprouting baby buds and the crocuses are popping up all around the base of the trees on 73rd street.  drove all the way out to my closet in the country (aka: mom & dad’s house) to do a partial summer / winter clothes switch just so that i could have open toe shoes in anticipation of more warm and sunny days.

on this day in 1839,the word, OK entered the national vernacular – incase you were looking for something to celebrate…
(On this day in 1839, the initials “O.K.” are first published in The Boston Morning Post. Meant as an abbreviation for “oll correct,” a popular slang misspelling of “all correct” at the time, OK steadily made its way into the everyday speech of Americans. www.history.com)

and that’s really all the news fo far for march 23rd 2010.  i hope to have something radically exciting to report by the end of the day.
