it’s 2:47 am. you want to sleep but your head has slipped off the pillow and you can’t fix it because your muscles just won’t move that way (yet). you call out as loud as your little voice will carry for an adult to assist you – and hope it won’t take too long.
this is one small example of the real challenges my niece sara faces everyday. while other kids are busy playing hide & seek, sara is working as hard as her little body can to strengthen her muscles so that one day she will be able to sit up on her own. her mental & emotional strength is astounding and because of it, in my heart i know she will walk one day.
the hours of therapy and special equipment required to assist sara is not inexpensive and i am reaching out to you for assistance. 100% of every charitable contribution to the ‘strides for sara‘ is used for sara’s treatment & equipment. you can know that you have directly served in providing peace & happiness for a beautiful child . every dollar is a gift of love to one of the sweetest souls on the planet – and no donation is too small.
an enormous heartfelt thank you.
Love,
Laurie
