dog: i’m not going
girl: you want me to drag you there?
dog: yeah, drag me.
girl to stranger: he doesn’t want to go
dog: that’s right.
girl: this isn’t funny. i said get up now!
dog: nope.
girl: please . . . please get up.
dog: staying right here.
girl: you’re being ridiculous – people are taking pictures!
stranger: is he ok?
girl: yes, he’s just being a dope.
stranger: let me help.
girl: omg – thank you! you’re my new bff.
dog: i hate you.

Never hurt a dog. You are dealing with unconditional love. There is a lesson to learn from every dog. Perhaps this dog was teaching patience in all things.

she wasn’t hurting him – he was playing the whole time – wagging his tail. . . it was really amusing!
( i would have stepped right in if she was hurting him in any way)

Great post, our fella was like that too, nothing as stubborn as a doggie. Only thing he would move for was treats, amazing how much energy they have when a doggie treat appears. Made me smile, thanks.

LOL. Something like this happened recently when we were walking our dogs around a reservoir. At the three mile mark, one of them just lay down and refused to go any further without a rest. We won eventually, but it took awhile..

I do the same thing when my wife takes me to the shopping mall. Security people get a little testy with her when she yanks on my leash.

I love it!!! I remember when I first got my dog & he was a puppy. He hated his leash at first. He would lay down, refuse to walk & get dragged down the sidewalk on his belly before giving up & using his four legs, lol 🙂

My mini poodle, Mushu, does that sometimes too – I just fake crying which seems to get him back to where I need him. Just like men, dogs are suckers for girls who cry :))

Wonderful. That’s real street photography right there, and the way you stacked the pictures creates a very amusing animation of the scene.
