a tribute to those who lost their lives on 9-11.
union square subway station.
two of my brothers helping with the rescue. another brother was working right across the street from the trade centers. when i saw the plane crash i called him to see what happened. he told me he looked out his window & saw a ticker tape parade & wondered why. he quickly realized otherwise. he managed to escape the horror by jumping on a boat that took him over to nj.
“i thank you God.”

Thanks for sharing this and for stopping by at my post tribute today. I never thought about the connection to a NY ticker tape parade. A sad irony. Glad your brother escaped the melee that day.
