benefits too?

i received an e-mail from a recruiter today.  can someone please tell me why he has a job and i do not?  here’s the e-mail:

We are a recruiting firm specializing in candiate – employer introductions in the finaicial services industry.  You background looks like it aligns with a position that we are looking to fill and would like to find out more about yourself and what your are looking to do to see if you are a good fit.  Please give us a call of email us to start the matching process.

You have nothing to loose besides potential interviews   (no period necessary)

here’s the response i wanted to send, but decided to blog instead:

Dear Dan,

I want to work for you company!  I would love to write run on sentences filled with missspelled words and get paid for doing so and  I have no experience or interest in the financial services industry but I have no doubt you will help me on my way to a new career.   I’m am so glad you got a hold of my e-mail address!  And your are right, I have nothing to lose

  1. I think this was probably more likely to be a phishing attempt than a serious offer of work from a real employer. All the same, how much more successful would their phishing attempts be if they were in plausibly correct business English?
