He looks like a happy guy who is satisfied with his many accomplishments. I bet he is proud of you.
Excellent post! As always. You still in the country?
hi, wally! thank you – he’s an excellent man!
just got back from the woods but planning another trip soon. it’s amazing up there this time of year!
There is nothing like upstate NY as far as I am concerned.
Have you ever been to my series on the Adirondacks from the mid-1800’s?
I used to post everyday but stopped and have left the series of 110 posts sitting there as an archive. Lots of nice old woodprints and a few old photos. And there is a little story with each one. An old woodsman narrates.
This is a good place to start:
That post is a collection of some important characters and scenes. From there you can click on the left pointing arrow to previous stories or select some from list of previous posts.
I have published an E-book that tells the same stories
“Adirondack impressions in word and image” but it is not free like the blog. Amazon charges $2.99 for it.
i have read some of the stories & they are wonderful! it’s been added to my reading list – good work, wally!
You have made my day. Thanks for your nice comments but thank you EVEN MORE for reading my stuff.
