rosh hashana is the jewish new year. it’s a time to begin introspection, looking back at the mistakes of the past year and set the intentions for the new year. this sounds like a good idea to me so i’ve already begun to celebrate and plan.
friday night my good neighbors dan & jayne invited me for shabbat dinner. this is the second time they’ve included me for shabbat & i’m starting to get the hang of it. good food, good prayers & fun. monday i will celebrate rosh hashana with the enzers for more of the same. 😉
no work is permitted on rosh hashanah so i send my wishes a day early for those of my friends who follow the true tradition: i wish you all the best health, lots of love, prosperity, wisdom and joy every single day!
