it’s 2:47 am. you want to sleep but your head has slipped off the pillow and you can’t fix it because your muscles just won’t move that way (yet). you call out as loud as your little voice will carry for an adult to assist you – and hope it won’t take too long.
this is one small example of the real challenges my niece sara faces everyday. while other kids are busy playing hide & seek, sara is working as hard as her little body can to strengthen her muscles so that one day she will be able to sit up on her own. her mental & emotional strength is astounding and because of it, in my heart i know she will walk one day.
the hours of therapy and special equipment required to assist sara is not inexpensive and i am reaching out to you for assistance. 100% of every charitable contribution to the ‘strides for sara‘ is used for sara’s treatment & equipment. you can know that you have directly served in providing peace & happiness for a beautiful child . every dollar is a gift of love to one of the sweetest souls on the planet – and no donation is too small.
an enormous heartfelt thank you.

forgot to pick a future he’d like, so now he’s practicing for the one he’s got.
Strides For Sara
Sara is my niece. She was born with cerebral palsy. Someday she will walk and I believe that from the bottom of my heart. But today she can’t – so we will get her an elevator. Sara faces a lot of challenges – and always with a smile. Please help ease her path by making a donation so that she can get an elevator in her home. No amount it too small.
Strides For Sara was started in 2009 to provide Sara with the tools she needs for mobility and accessibility in her everyday life. An electronic wheel chair was purchased proceeds raised in 2010 for which Sara is so grateful. Now in 2011 we would like to make Sara’s home wheel chair accessible. The funds will be raised by several social events focusing on family and celebrating life including a fun day of golfing on August 8th. If you don’t golf, just join us for dinner. If you don’t eat, you can make a donation. 🙂
